Warts on the foot

A WART IS CAUSED BY A VIRUS. IT IS ACTUALLY A VERY COMMON SKIN

INFECTION. IT IS CONTAGIOUS, WHICH WARTS ARE UNSIGHTLY AND SOMETIMES

PAINFUL AND COMMONLY SPREAD. THEREFORE IT IS GENERALLY RECOMMENDED THAT

WARTS BE REMOVED.

A BAD WART ON THE HEEL

THERE ARE TWO METHODS I USE TO GET RID OF WARTS. THE FIRST

METHOD INVOLVES APPLYING A MILD ACID TO THE FOOT. THIS SOFTENS THE SKIN

AND SOMETIMES CAUSES A BLISTER TO FORM. IT SHOULD NOT HURT AND THERE IS

VERY LITTLE RISK INVOLVED. WHEN THE SKIN IS SOFT ENOUGH OR A BLISTER

FORMS I CAN EASILY PEEL THE WART OFF THE FOOT. THERE IS A 50/50 CHANCE

THAT THIS WILL WORK.

THE SECOND METHOD I USE IS "BURNING OFF THE WART". THIS

INVOLVES NUMBING THE AREA WITH A SHOT OF "NOVACAIN" AND THEN SURGICALLY

REMOVING THE WART. THE AREA IS THEN CAUTERIZED TO PREVENT REGROWTH.

THIS METHOD TENDS TO HURT MORE AND THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE OF HEALING

WITH A PAINFUL SCAR. THAT IS WHY I RECOMMEND METHOD ONE FIRST. HOWEVER

THIS METHOD PERMANENTLY RIDS WARTS 9 OUT OF TEN TIMES.

THESE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW WHILE I AM TREATING YOUR WARTS

1- A MILD ACID WAS APPLIED TO YOUR FOOT, IT MAY BURN A LITTLE. IF IT IS

EXTREMELY IRRITATING REMOVE THE BANDAGE AND WASH YOUR FOOT WITH SOAP AND

WATER. CALL ME at 1-800-happy foot

2- IF THE BANDAGE IS NOT EXTREMELY IRRITATING KEEP IT ON. DO NOT GET IT

WET!!!!! THIS WILL WEAKEN THE MEDICINE AND IT WILL TAKE LONGER TO WORK.

3- IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY GET IT WET; DRY IT WITH A HAIR BLOWER. SLEEP WITH

A SOCK ON YOUR FOOT SO THAT THE BLANKET DOES'T PULL THE BANDAGE OFF.

4- THE DAY YOU COME BACK YOU CAN GET IT WET. ACTUALLY I WANT YOU TO GET

IT SOAKED. I AM PROBABLY GOING TO PUT THE SAME THING ON AGAIN. HOWEVER

DO NOT REMOVE THE BANDAGE!!!! EVEN AFTER GETTING IT WET DO NOT REMOVE

IT!!!
