Children have common foot problems such as warts, flat feet, pigeion toed,
knock-knees. Some of these are normals depending on the childs age but all
should be examined by a doctor preffably me. adult foot problems can be avoided
by discovering and treating early. We use special care and with a good sense of
humor we make the childs experience as quick and pleasant as possible.
Because the bones continue to grow and change until age 16 there is a chance to
encourage them to grow correctly.
warts are sucessfully treated by applying a chemical and we try to avoid
"burning off warts " in children which can be a traumatic experience.
ingrown nails are also treated as gently as possible - but can be surgically
removed and Dr. Meyerberg has treated children from under 1 year to 99 years of
age.
